We are continually faced with the decision to move forward or backward with God. Every action has an eternal value, whether eternally worthless or everlasting, and our choice to move forward with God, be ferverent in prayer, or brush Him aside will have an impact both now and forever. And although it seems as though everything around us is starving for our attention, we must continue to fall at the feet of Jesus. Romans 12:1-2 says," I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." These two verses are jam packed with awesome stuff, but we read here that we are to truely live our lives for God with renewed minds. Paul says in Philippians 2:1-5, " Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only fo his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ," Jesus said he came not to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many. With this same mind, with this same love, with this compassion and perserverance we must live lives of powerful prayer and communion with God, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. God ROCKS!!!!!!! Live love...Lets PRAY!!!!!!
